Boohoo, Dorothy Perkins, Missguided haul

Having a few days of hot weather made me realise how much i wanted needed more loose fitted  tops so i headed over to Boohoo to see what they had to offer.

Boohoo Rebecca Oversized Raglan Tee - £8
Boohoo Jacky Oversized Tunic Top - £8

I'm so so happy with both of these especially the raglan top. They're both going to be so easy to wear with anything and super comfy. The raglan top is really soft too it's a lovely material.

Somewhere on here i saw a stripe tunic dress and fell in love with it - the shape, style and design. the one i saw was from Topshop but when i tried on the petite it still felt way too big - deeply disappointed! i went searching high and low and found one on Dorothy Perkins (i ended up getting it off the Dorothy Perkins part of BHS as Dorothy Perkins didn't have my size). They no longer have this in stock unfortunately.

I had my eye on this playsuit from Missguided for a while and i just ended up buying it :)

Missguided Migle Plunge Neck Playsuit - £19.99

Obviously the lady on the website has a very ample bust but for me i just wear a little cami underneath and the material is so so so soft!

H&M haul and Primark Shoes

Without realising it i've actually done quite a bit of shopping recently and now it's all come together i can see what i've got.

I love that feeling of buying something new having a shopping bag in your hand and the excitement of wearing it for the first time! Even more so when you get a bargain!

First up the one place i go to get my shoes from...Primark. You just can't go wrong, they seem to last a long time and even if they don't i know i've only spent about £6 on them anyway. I've always found they fit me well (though i can't say the same for their heels!)

I picked up these 3 beauties, black, grey and nude/pink. The black pair were £4, the grey were £6 and i think the pink/nude ones were £4 from what i can remember.

I spend the majority of my money in H&M and a fair amount of my time in their too, it's the first place i will go to when i need anything.

H&M Long Strappy Top - £3.99
H&M Leggings - £5.99
H&M Crop Top - £3.99
H&M Oversized Crop Top - £3.99

I wanted a black baggy crop top and i found 2, one was quicte high neck, oversized size 8 and the other one was actually a size Large but i wanted it baggy meaning it had a scoop neck. I tried both on and just couldn't decide which neck i liked best. So, if in doubt buy both!

H&M Size Large crop top

H&M Oversized Crop Top Size 8

I don't know what made me fall in love with this dress but it looked quite sophisticated and something i wouldn't usually pick up.

The dress above i just happened to see whilst i was on the hunt for the below which i had seen in another store where they only had larger sizes left. I was thinking about it so much i went after work to another H&M with all fingers and toes crossed and i got the last one!

I had one of those moments where i was walking around with a massive grin on my face wnating to grab everyone and tell them what had just happened.

H&M Lace detail dress - £12.99 - Size 8 - not the exact one but closest to it.

I'll be posting tomorrow (or in a few days) what i've recently bought from Boohoo, Missguided and Dorothy Perkins.

Missguided & Boohoo Bodysuits

My third choices now and this time it's bodysuits!

If you missed the previous post on Boohoo and Missguided where i picked my 2 favourite dresses from each site you can check it out here, and where i picked my 2 favourite playsuits from here!

They're all great for summer and the ones from Missguided could be really dressed up. I've loved the look of Missguided's halterneck bodysuits for ages now necause i think they look so flattering and i especially love the navy colour.

The ones from Boohoo are so fun and they always seem to have a range of them each year that pop with bright colours and are something lovely to wear with some basic shorts or a skirt and they're so cheap that you can't really moan!

Missguided & Boohoo Playsuits

If you missed the previous post on Boohoo and Missguided where i picked my 2 favourite dresses from each site you can check it out here!

These are 2 of my favourite playsuits from each website which are all gorgeous and which i would really really like but i don't have the space for them and don't know when i would wear them.

Boohoo Phillipa Polka Dot Bandeau Peplem Playsuit - £25

The Missguided ones are so sexy, the first one is gorgeous just in black and means you could wear lovely bright accessories or bright lipstick. The lace and leather contrast is lovely and daring and something mysterious about it. I really like all the floral playsuits they have but i've gone with the black one because t's so sexy again and the floral colours are so delicate.

The Boohoo ones are much more girly and casual, especially the first one which is so pretty with the floral design and i love the pinks and purples in it. The spotty one i really like because of the cut of it and would be great to take on holiday.

Which ones do you prefer?

Missguided & Boohoo Dresses

I really love Boohoo and Missguided. Though i don't actually buy much off there simply because i have no room for more clothes, i still have a pair of jeans that i brought last year that are waiting to be worn.

So the next best thing is to look and not buy and why not share what i like the look of on here so that those of you who have room for clothes can go on and buy what i wish for?! I'll be doing a few of these posts each time choosing my two favourites from each website. Let me know which you prefer :)

I really love the Missguided silky dress. Not usually one for silk but there's something about this (and it would also make a gorgeous little Valentines number!) Would be great to wear in spring, just before we get to the really warm weather where the last thing you want is silky clothes sticking to you!

The other Missguided dress is just so lovely and casual and could be worn in both winter with thick tights, scarf and hat or in summer as a lovely airy dress.

The ones on Boohoo i don't think i would usually wear. I love this shade of pink that seems to be everywhere at the moment thought as much as i love the colour pink i don't know if it would suit my skin tone. The little collars make is even more sweet. The yellow daisy one i just love the colour of too and think it could be worn as a lovely daytime dress or dressed up for a more dressy occasion in the summer.

A Peek Into My Christmas

Hey!

Well that all flew by super fast! I only got Christmas day and boxing day off work and then New years day so everything seems to have gone super sonic speed and flung me into 2014. Christmas was great this year but i don't feel like i got to fully enjoy it but i thought i would share with you all what i got for Christmas because i love seeing what everyone else got for ideas of what to buy. It's like everyone does massive hauls.

First up is this dress that i wore Christmas day, i brought it from New Look as a gift to myself because i don't own many dresses and i just thought it was really cute and i loved the ruffles. I had a very quick skim through the website and couldn't see it but there are very similar ones here and here.

 Bag from Topshop

Katy Perry 'Killer Queen' and Georgio Armani 'Si'

New Look Boots

Fox Jumper from Sainsburys

Tartan Scarf and fleece lined socks from Matalan (super soft!)

Umberto Giannini Hair kit

A collection of books

Ok now this book above is absolutely so sweet and lovely to read! Mark Nixon is a photographer and advertised for people to bring in their teddies to be photographed but it turned into something much bigger with so many people turning up and giving stories behind their teddies. This book shows a picture of each teddy (be that bear or some other kind of animal) the age of the beloved teddy, who it belongs to and a story behind it. It's heart warming and just lovely to see how loved they all are with fur and other bodily parts missing through all the cuddles over time.

This is the gorgeous Pandora bracelet off Glen that i got; i love the colours so much and Pandora are just amazing at creating so many wonderful charms i just love them all!

I hope you all had a fab end to 2013 and I'll be doing a post soon on what Parnip got (because it's so cute!) and also the nail polishes i got which I'm excited to swatch at some point!

Leave me links or let me know if you did a 'What i got for Christmas!' i love reading them.

My top tights

Tights, tights, tights!

I love tights they really can make an outfit and are a great accessory to wear.

Now i love just classic black tights, they're so flattering but sometimes you have to be daring and go all out!

This first pair of tights i think were from New Look and they're this super pretty floral design which look lovely paired with a black bodycon dress or skater skirt because they stand out so much.

Not too sure where these were from but they're a really lovely plumb ish colour which i like to wear with high waisted shorts and a nice plain tshirt.

Another pair of floral tights that i think were also from New Look. A bigger pattern here so i find them a bit harder to style and don't really wear them much any more but again great pattern and colours for summer.

I love love love the colour of these tights they are so thick too which is great in winter and look great with black boots or little dolly shoes and i just think the colour is gorgeous and a general brilliant autumn/winter colour :)

These werr such an impulse buy from Ebay, i saw some Mickey mouse black ones they were for sale in Primark but they didn't have any in my store so i turned to Ebay and found these adorable ones. I only wore them once and got a hole in which i kind of expected becase they are so thin but are great for a relaxed look with high waisted shorts by the beach!

My ultimate favourite pair of tights in the whole wide world are these!! They're classic black with such a gorgeous floral pattern all over the tights. These beauties were from Primark, not sure how much they were but obviously not much. Such a bargain and they look great with pretty much everything.

Do you love to wear tights? Pattern vs Plain?
