My Collection - Reds and Oranges

And last but not least...

I have finally reached the end, there are some that i have missed out because i have got them more recently but i will try and keep this updated with all the new polishes i buy.

L-R: Boots no.17-no name on bottle, Rimmel 'Coralicious', China Glaze 'Make Some Noise', Collection 2000 'Hip Hop'

Who doesn't like wearing red nail polish?! I once owned a Mavala one in the most gorgeous red colour but it was so long ago i can't quite remember the exact shade so i have been on the hunt for something that will do the job.

Three of the polishes above are right up there in my favourites; the only one that isn't is Chine Glaze 'Make Some Noise'. i just don't feel like it's really anything special which is a shame.

Boots No.17 Red you beauty! I love this nail polish, it really is a red red! It's such a sexy colour and i thin this is probably the best red nail polish i've found for the colour i want.

Oh Coralicious how this photo does you no justice. It really is a coral colour and this is my favourite polish to wear on my toes it actually makes feet look nice! It's the first summer colour i will get out and use and it's probably my most used for when i'm just having my nails one colour.

Hip Hop is the best orange nail polish i've found - it's daring and in your face - i love it. It's such a statement colour and just a fun colour to be wearing.

My Collection - Reds

L-R: Boots no.17-no name on bottle, Rimmel 'Desire 393', Barry M 'Retro 3 Red'

This Rimmel nail plish always gets overlooked i never think about using it when maybe i really should it makes my nails look so long and elegant a really flattering colour.

I've realised i need a brown nail polish; not exactly the best colour out there that you would want but for those times when i need that dark shade but not quite black when doing nail art. I thought this Boots No.17 one would be good but as you can see it doesn't come out how it looks in the bottle which is a shame; still the hunt goes on...

My Collection - Pink Part4

The final part to my pins collection; this is reaching out into  the purple too.

L-R: OPI 'Purple With a purpose', Natural Collection 'Cosmic Crush', Revlon 'Cloud 710', Rimmel; 'Purple Pulse', Technic 'Persian Rose'

nother of my favourites is in this collection - Revlon Cloud. Such a gorgeous colour lilac and one of the best polishes to apply it goes on so smoothly with no streaks or bumps and you often only need one coat.

I'm glad to be over the pink polishes now i really have so many;  though all beautiful in their own right.

Watercolour nails

Watercolour nails eh?

I'd not heard of this before but spotted it on Pinterest (surprise surprise) and fell in love with it and thought I'd give it a go.

1. First off start with  a plain base colour, i chose white so i had a neutral background.
2. Choose your colours and just randomly dab blobs on to your nail
3. Using nail polish remover, get a paintbrush and dab the remover onto the nail to blend the colours together
4. If needed blob on some more colour if you feel like the nail is lacking in one of the colours and blend again with nail polish remover

L-R: Natural Collection nail tip whitener; Collection 2000 'Candy Floss'; Rimmel 'Coralicious'; Claire's yellow nail polish; Miss sporty Glossy finish; Rimmel 'Purple Pulse'

Such a brilliant super quick, easy and effective nail art and it will turn out different every time! I cna only imagine some of the colour combinations you could think up!

What colours would you use?

Bold colours

Wow this week is flying by! i can't believe it's Friday tomorrow already - work's been a bit hectic this week so I've been keeping my head down and then i look up and realise almost the weekend!

It's so nice seeing the sun (though i don't hold much hope of it lasting all that long) soon as the sun poked it's yellow little head from behind the clouds that was it...shorts and sunny's out :) gotta make the most of these things.

Can't believe this year has gone so fast, almost May already, which means i have under 4 weeks left of being 21 - since when did i get old?! I still feel about 18 (and look even younger)

aaaaanyway on to the actual post instead of me going on; I really love these colours and was pleased with how it turned out once I'd tidied up!

Wow, messy!

L-R: Barry M "392 - Grey", Rio nail art pen, Rimmel "430 Corralicious", Collection 2000 "48 - Candy Floss"

I was pleased with how straight these lines turned out considering i did it free hand and all the different angles.

Really can't wait for the weekend - hopefully going shopping for my birthday presents :) will just be so nice to sleep! Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Aqua Baby!

Well i hope everyone's had a wonderful Christmas!

Here's a a sponged look i did that turned out really well and looked really bright and colourful.

2 Coats of blue

L-R:  first 2 blue polishes from Primark; Collection 2000 in '59 Look at Me'; Rimmel matte finish polish

Sponging on the green and dark blue - MESSY!

After tidy up :)

What do you think? i was really pleased with the look after clean up but sadly it didn't stay on that long, i don't know if it was the cheap primark polish or the matte finish that made it keep chipping.

What colours should i sponge next?

My Saturday - and Children in Need Nails

1. lots of junk for a saturday night in 2. new opi glitter nail polish 3. salt rock candle
4. OOTD 5. Oil burner 6. New oil fragrances
7. Parsnip :) 8. Children in need nails

First up is this OPI Nail varnish 'Pirouette my Whistle' that my boyfriends sister has kindly given to me. She didn't use it and knows my love for nail varnish so gave it to me. i can't wait to try it out (love of glitter and all that)

I saw these candles in the German market in Birmingham the other day (woo Christmas is on it's way!!) and i fell in love with them. They look even more gorgeous when they're lit up so i will post the pics when i use it. Anyway i thought the ones at the German market were a little overprices so i found this one for £4 here.

Yesterday was Children in need so at the last minute on Thursday evening decided to do my nails themed.

Hopefully you can kind of see the resemblance, i din't have the time or patience to do actual Pudsy on my nails so just did his bandanna.

L-R: Sally Hansen Hard as nail - used as a base coat; Rimmel '055, Sunshine'; 17 - doesn't have a name; MUA - Shade 9; Natural Collection - Nail Tip Whitener; China Glaze - In the Lime Light Neon

Just an OOTD - Jane Norman jumper, Topshop 'Jamie' jeans and my Adidas trainers.
Just right for a quick trip to some garden centres to get some accessories for Christmas!

Baby Parsnip looks so small in my kitchen :D

Hope you're all having a good weekend
