4 Books

Four Books

1.) Before I Fall - Lauren Oliver

This is the best book i have ever read, i was totally gripped by it!

The plot to this book is that one Friday evening, Sam and her other teenage friends are on their way back from a party when they are involved in a car crash (at this point i was gripped already) but then Sam wakes up again and instead of being dead, it is Friday again and she relives the same day. It is such a brilliant book because different situations occur each time. I'm not too good at giving book descriptions because i don't want to give anything away but I really recommend it.

2.) Before I Go To Sleep - S J Watson

This book is a thriller and it really is. Every time Christine goes to sleep she forgets everything about herself and her life so each morning she has to be told everything again by her husband. It is really interesting to read this book from Christine's point of view and how she feels each morning knowing nothing about who she is or where she is.

3.) Fifty Shades Darker - E.L James

So this book you either love it or hate it. And i absolutely loved it. I have chosen the second book to be my favourite.

When i first started reading Fifty Shades Of Grey i absolutely hated it. I couldn't get into it at all and i didn't warm to any of the characters, especially Mr Grey. I really didn't like him AT ALL! I really didn't think i would finish the first book but by three quarters of the way through i was totally converted! I couldn't believe it. The reason i chose the second book was because the story began to deepen and it became much more of a love story. I normally hate lovey dovey books and was sceptical about reading it but because of all the hype i wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I'm glad i did now because i really enjoyed it.

4.) Never Look Away - Linwood Barclay

Linwood Barclay is my favourite author and i love all of his books, I've read them all apart from his most recent release which i need to get my hands on soon. In this book, David takes a day trip to the local amusement park with his wife Jan and son Ethan. When Jan goes missing, David reports her missing and frantically tries everything to fin out where his wife is. Something just doesn't add up and the police suspect that Jan was already dead and David had murdered her. To prove his innocence, David has to dig deep and find out the truth. I was totally gripped by this book and couldn't put it down.

Do you recommend any good books? I need some new ones to read after the current one I'm reading.

  1. I really loved Before I Go To Sleep, such a great story idea and kept me completely hooked. I never finished 50 Shades of Grey, got about two thirds of the way in and thought it was rubbish- maybe I should give it another try? Im a new follower to your blog :) x

    1. I definitely would suggest you give fifty shades another go, i totally understand why you'd think it was rubbish but the second book is better, then the third book goes downhill a bit until the end :)
